Dr. Milan Patel received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with minor in Mathematics at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After college he attended Rosalind Franklin University, where he earned a Masters in Biomedical Sciences. While attending his master’s program he learned about the profession of podiatry, as the university had one of the 9 podiatry schools in the nation at that time. He loved how podiatry connected his passion for medicine with sports. He then earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2020. Dr. Patel then completed an extensive 3-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Patel was born and raised in the northwest Illinois suburbs where his family still resides. He grew up playing sports such as baseball, basketball and cricket. He also enjoys spending time with family/friends, traveling and hiking. Dr. Patel is bilingual and fluent in Guajarati to accommodate the Indian-American population.

Dr. Patel’s training and areas of interest include limb salvage/wound care, trauma, foot/ankle reconstruction surgery, sport injuries and pediatrics. He is committed to serving his community with the latest evidence based medicine and helping patients quickly get back on their feet!
